Emma was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas where she attended the University of Kansas earning degrees in English and American Studies, with a focus on Women and Gender Studies. She has over 12 years of nonprofit fundraising experience. Before joining PHFS, Emma worked for organizations in arts education and children’s advocacy. Emma's favorite part about fundraising is building meaningful, authentic relationships with donors around shared passions and values. Emma serves as a Young Fellow in Ninety-Nine Girlfriends Women's Collective Giving Circle and on the board of OAASIS, Oregon Abuse Advocates and Survivors in Service. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and throwing themed parties.
